Human resilience and nature conservation

One of the projects I'm most excited about currently looks at the link between the well-being of humans and the well-being of the earth, particularly in fragile political environments. As war, climate change and population growth impact the way humans live on the earth, we need to find new ways to understand the links between protection of people and protection of ecosystems. It is particularly vital to understand how gender plays a role in individual and societal adaptations, and to leverage this knowledge to promote positive change.
